    Hello!

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to touch base for a couple of reasons. If you have already received fabric for some of your projects we would absolutely love to see photos of completed quilts. For those of you who have already sent photos thank you so much! We love seeing them. You can send them directly to me or tag @cotton_cuts on social.

Also, if you have NOT let me know about a special project your guild is working on please let me know so we can support you with some fabric.

We have enjoyed partnering with our guilds so much this year that we would love to do more. We know that many of you may be a part of more than one guild or you have quilty friends in other guilds. I would love for you to send me referrals so I can reach out to them.

This week in the shop we just launched an AMAZING new project called Floral States of America. It is a delightful journey through America's floral tapestry! Cotton Cuts has partnered with Andover Fabric to bring you our first precut Block of the Month program celebrating the floral beauty of the United States. Join fellow quilting enthusiasts on a vibrant exploration as we showcase the iconic State Flowers from all 50 states.

Quantities are limited for this project but I wanted to make sure you all knew about it. It would be so much fun to sew with friends.
Learn about Floral States of America Here!
Please remind everyone of the special code I made for your guild so they can receive their 15% off discount. If you need to know what that code is again, feel free to reply to this email and I can re-send it.

    Happy Sewing!

Members, just a reminder that we have a member owned business directory. Have a look to see what businesses are available from fellow members.  Link to page.

If you have a business that you would represented on this page, please send a short paragraph listing your contact information and what services you provide. You can have one picture or a link to Facebook page (which resolves to a picture). A link to website is fine also. Please email this information to webdirector@stlmqg.org. Periodically, you will be asked to confirm your listing in an effort to keep the page up to date.

Currently, this page is only available to members.

    New On-Demand Video: Appliqué

Appliqué has a rich history in traditional quilting, so how do quilters utilize this technique in modern quilting? Ginny Robinson, an individual MQG member, shares the characteristics of modern appliqué and why a modern quilter might choose this technique. Ginny walks through the tools and materials needed to do different styles of appliqué as well as does a quick demonstration of raw edge appliqué.
