Bocce Ball - Save the Date 8/22 at Italia American Bocce Club. This will be an afternoon event. More info to come.

The Art of HYBYCOZO 6/20 4-6 at MOBOT - We will meet at 4 for drinks/food and the event starts at 6. Sign up on WildApricot for dinner and/or event so we know how many are coming. You will need to buy your own ticket on the MOBOT site ahead of time.

STLMQG will be supporting this organization through donation of extra long twin quilts. See slides for more info on size and other guidelines.

Don’t have resources to make a quilt on your own? Join a “Quilty Crew” to work together with 3-4 other guild members to make a quilt. See slides for more info.

Hope Ignites is also looking for a donation of a reliable vehicle for use in transporting scholars to meetings, school, etc. See slide for more info.

Em Komiskey completed the Boston Marathon! BIG congrats to her!

Marie Hill suggested a member FB marketplace group for selling items that would be exclusive to STLMQG members. More info to come as the Board takes this suggestion into consideration…

Octavia works with Lit Shop and is developing their textile program. If you have nicer quilting cottons that you would be willing to donate, please reach out to her.

Dottie Vaughn has a free 48” loom, weaving bench, and warping board that needs a home. Reach out to her for more info.

Tess has a friend with a list of sewing machines and items for sale. An extensive list of available items can be provided. Reach out to Tess McMahon if you are interested in more info.

The Guild is looking for a few more volunteers for the Welcome Committee. Please reach out to a board member if you are interested in signing up.
